Fourth Annual Shirley Povich Symposium on Intercollegiate Athletics

The Merrill College of Journalism and the Maryland Society are co-sponsoring the fourth annual Shirley Povich Symposium on November 11, 2009 at 7:30 P.M.
Connie Chung '69 and Maury Povich will be moderating the event, entitled "Intercollegiate Athletics: The Joys and Challenges of College Sports."
Panelists include USM Chancellor Britt Kirwan, Redskins player Stephon Heyer '06, ESPN's Scott Van Pelt '90, The Washington Post's Michael Wilbon, Maryland Men's Basketball Coach Gary Williams '68 and Maryland Athletic Director Debbie Yow.
