The First Year Book program is proud to present a lecture by Dave Eggers, author of
What Is the What. Joining Dave is Valentino Achak Deng, the subject of the book.
What Is the What is a novelized biography of a real Lost Boy, Valentino Achak Deng. The book chronicles the story of those who had to flee during the Second Sudanese Civil War.
The lecture is free and open to the community.
